Hey guys, let me
know if below is OK. And review Plans A and B and let me know which you
want to follow. A is more traditional. B starts with short
repetitions.
- We plan to follow the Daniels' Running Formula program
- Plan A or B TBD.
- During the winter, long runs will be on Saturdays
at the Arboretum at 7:00 starting November 24th.
- Weather
permitting through the winter, we'll do speedwork on Tuesdays at
Naperville North at 7:00 starting November 27th.
- We set a
goal of running a 3:05-3:10 marathon in the spring. Tom & Kevin
running Boston; Mike TBD.
- We plan to have multiple marathons lined up in the fall
as potential goal races. We will each try to recruit at least one more
runner.
- We will meet the 1st Monday each month at Rizzo's
at 8:00 to, ummm, discuss progress.

Rizzo's is a few
doors east of the Naperville Running Company. They have $1 beers on
Monday nights and the NRC gang, e.g., Scott, usually hang out there after store
closing. About 40 more days until it is smoke free!!!
I'd like to hear
more about your 3:11 Boston, like how much hill work you did or anything
special to get accustomed to the initial downhills.
