"Kind-Of-A-Marathon"

Do you still
have the urge to run 26.2 miles before Christmas? Then consider signing
up for the 1st "Kind-Of-A-Marathon" on December 8th,
2007. This is an informal run out and back on the Great Western Trail
starting at Sycamore Park in Sycamore. The run starts at 8:45 a.m., the
turn around will close at 11:15 and the course closes at 1:45 p.m. There
will be Gatorade Endurance and water every two miles. Bagels and Gatorade
will be at the Finish.
The run is
limited to the first 40 entrants and the donation is $2.50 to help defray
costs. There will be no shirts or finishers medals, just a good feeling
for going the distance. R.C. has reserved space at a local watering hole,
PJ's on State Street in downtown Sycamore after the run for a little
social time, food and beverage on your own tab.
