Northern Illinois Nordic's JENEX LIMESTONE LOPPET is
ALL BUT CERTAIN to be run at the BLACKWELL NORTH LOOP (OFF OF MACK RD.), It is
the MCKEE MARSH area.

When: Saturday, Nov. 10 (rain date Nov. 17)
What: Off-road (crushed limestone) low-key, fun Time Trial approximately 10K in
length.
Time: 9 a.m.
Divisions: Roller-ski, CAT-ski
Format: Entrants go every 30 seconds on a two-lap plus Time Trial
Course: Mostly flat with a couple of hills to make it interesting.
The course is in very good condition, won't be crowded, and has NO road
crossings.
There are toilet facilities 30 feet from the starting line and an adequate
parking lot right at the starting line.
Sponsors: Titel sponsor JENEX will donate a pair of Aeros roller skis!
Raffle also will include aparel and hats from INFINITY and gloves, eyewear and
a SKITRAB jacket from CHI-TOWN SPORTS..
Directions:
Take Winield Road north from I-88 to Mack Road (then see
below)
Directions from Butterfield Rd. (Route 56) and Winfield Rd:
Go north on Winfield Rd. .8 of mile to Mack Rd.
Go west on Mack. Rd. 1.2 miles (.3 past trail signs) to last parking lot on
right.
There may be a waiver to sign, and possibly a very small
entry fee, but probably not. No money can change hands on Forest Preserve
property.
Professional timing has been secured through RACETIME.
Please let me know if you plan to come. If you're from out-of-state, give me an
indication of your ability. We encourage people of all abilities, fast or slow
to come out. NO pressure! It's all about having fun. I do try to seed this as
best I can for a more interesting finish, but it's not always possible to get
it exactly right.
